before Heath Ledger was even mentioned as the Joker i thought that Daniel Day Lewis would have been perfect. Not only is he a great actor, but he has the facial features and body type of the comic book Joker.

Mark Hamill . . Looks close enough, and he's already got the voice role. What would years of prison do to the joker . . ? Certainly not make him any calmer . .
