He's not wrong though. Faith was a very physical personality. Not much of an intellectual. Okay, lets just state it outright: she was a bit dumb.

You only watched the 3rd season didn't you. Otherwise, you'd know you're wrong.

          Great minds think a like
I just came on here to say pretty much the same thing.
I have been waiting for a
          Faith
series for over a decade now and I am tired of waiting!
          Bring back
          Faith The Vampire Slayer
          NOW!
All of these modern day vampire movies and TV shows are nothing more then the spawn children of Buffy, Angel, Spike and Faith!
Faith needs to come back and show all the newbies how its done!

That would be great if that was true, but actually the material for The Vampire Diaries, True Blood and that Twilight crap is older than BtVS, and also quite a bit weaker, from the strength of the storytelling, too.
At best one can say that the success of BtVS motivated the tv channels to start more vampire shows.

You're only correct about Vampire Diaries, whose book series began in 1991. True Blood is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries, first published in 2001. The first Twilight novel was published in 2005. Buffy the TV series began in 1997, based on a 1992 film.

Right after BtVS ended, FtRS (Faith the Rogue Slayer) might have been a good idea.
Sadly Joss Whedon told Eliza he wouldnt be there for this show, so she decided against doing it. And failed with two other shows.
Now ? Well better late than never, but I doubt they would actually cast Eliza for it again. With 32, out of the perspective of Hollywood, she's kind of more "Faith the Mother Slayer" today, agewise.

She was offered a Faith series but turned it down to do Tru Calling. So, her fault.

As much as I would have loved to have seen "Faith, the Vampire Slayer" series, I can understand her trying something different. I liked Tru Calling and Dollhouse and hated it when they each got cancelled.
I wish her well in whatever she does. I do think she would have been great in a "Faith, The Vampire Slayer" series though.

She is 40 years old now and I actually think that she could still play 'Faith' in a Spin-Off TV Show if they actually made one for 'Faith'.
