I suppose she just didn't have a clue, but burning the Birkin could not have been a worse move on her part. At a time when so many are suffering so badly, her act has seemingly revealed a heart of stone. Perhaps those in the business already knew this, if it's true, but now everyone assumes it. Sober up, Hollywood. The rules of life are the same for all of us. Do some soul searching and grow up.

Thanks for saying just what I was thinking.
And look at any action movie. They build and destroy hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of sets and blow up expensive cars. I have yet to hear of anyone complaining about the waste. -

she didn't hurt anyone by destroying that purse
it's pathetic people would even buy bags that are
even that expensive. if people like her can buy it who
are we to say what they should do or not with their stuff.

Yah, never heard this story. I had to look it up. Late to the party, considering I just heard of this actor. Don't know why its a story. All I know is who the hell cares? It's a purse. "At a time when people are suffering" People are suffering all the time, since the beginning of time. There's never a good time to do anything that society might look down on you for. However, I reiterate It's a purse, who the hell cares? No one except fashion extremists. Also, it was part of her show, which means she was paid to burn the stupid purse. So maybe that takes all the rage out of your post? She wasn't burning away money by doing it, she was making money.
