The dude is Igbo. Not mixed. Look it up on Google/wiki. The Igbo tribe of Nigeria have a good deal of light skinned people. My mum is one of them. My dad is rather on the "dark side" (lol), Yoruba, West of Nigeria.

It's been a long time since you posted, but I want to ask you if there is some particular reason you ask this question? Is there some deeply held belief about people outside whatever race/culture you are that everyone from X other race/culture has to look like what you think they "should"?

I'm positive I never said you weren't allowed to be curious. My question was (and still is) that people from all kinds of cultural and racial backgrounds do not ALL a "look." There is nothing genetically that differentiates people based solely on skin color and/or features. It is a societal construct designed to classify people.

In order to even intelligently deal with the OP's question, s/he would have to make clear which features he believes constitute looking white and black. No human being is white; neither is any human being black. Those color words are just shorthands. Among those we have designated caucasian and negroid there is a full spectrum of hues. The people in Africa range from fairly light skinned to very dark-skinned, and what lies in between has many variations. Many people on the Indian subcontinent are much darker than many Africans, yet they are caucasian. So what exactly the OP means is a mystery to me. Is s/he referring to skin color or facial features?
