The Original mom is home! TVLine has confirmed that The CWs Vampire Diaries has cast Alice Evans (Lost, Brothers & Sisters) as Klaus and Rebekahs mother, Esther. Shell appear in a flashback in Episode 8 of the third season. Fun fact: Evans is the real-life wife of Ringer star Ioan Gruffudd.

Yes, a very popular one for the network. I'm going to resist watching it again, but I think AE appeared for a total of about 20 seconds and had a couple of lines is all.
