Oh yeah, I didn't mean to imply it's just women. I'm talking as a heteromantic guy.
I used to be that way myself. Though, I think that had a lot to do with the trauma of my first gf trying to kill herself. We moved way too fast at such a young age that I kinda freaked out. We were talking marriage and a bunch of other dumb **** after only a month or two. I was in over my head, so I broke up with her, and she ended up in the hospital after slitting her wrists in the tub, and I spent months trying to keep her from doing it again, and I accidentallylef her on at certain points… It made me afraid to get close to anyone. I just retreated into shallowness and shallow relationships until THE ex.
