Now, is that; "ba-na-na"? or "bah-nah-nah"?

I think people are saying ah-na as in arna, that what confused me at first because to me, ahh sounds like the phonic A not the letter R.
In frozen it sounds like R na but the people i know in real life call themselves ann na.

Like Princess Ann with an "a" on the end.

There is no arna pronunciation in Frozen. I've never heard anybody pronounce the name Anna as Arna.

It's merely preference and nothing else. But snooty? Absolutely not. That's just silly to suggest.

We always pronounce it like that in Germany and since she has some German roots, maybe that's the reason her parents are pronouncing it that way I like it either way.

                Maybe she's Norwegian.

Maybe it's what her parents intended it to be pronounced? Don't be such a dumbass. I know two people with the name Vanna, one is pronounced Van-nah and the other pronounced Vah-nah, and that's exactly how their parents pronounces it.

It's not snooty, it's just a different way to pronounce it, lol. I'm having a hard time taking your post seriously

If her parents wanted her name to be pronounced like AH-NA, they should have spelled her name like Ana.

I once met someone named "Anne" who pronounced it as "Awn". DON'T ask me why. I thought I was hearing things and then just accepted it.
It's Faris's name to pronounce anyway she likes - or AH-nyway she likes. Who cares? It's not like you're ever going to meet her.
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hyste5b4rical naked.

She had her parents on her podcast, and Mom addressed her as "Ahn-na," so if you must tag anyone with snotty, it shouldn't be the daughter. I got an "Anna" daughter, but she was always "Annie" from day one on. . . worked well for her, but obviously Feris' pronunciation worked for her. . . she seems REAL nice and down home.
