      Craig Ferguson will host NBC's second Red Nose Day telecast for children in need. NBC said Wednesday that Ferguson will be joined by stars including Kristen Bell, Julianne Moore, Paul Rudd and Jack Black in a live prime-time special airing later this month It's scheduled to air at 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, May 26, 2016.

        This is very big news considering he's taking over from Neil Patrick Harris. Red Nose Day/Children In Need is a mainstay on British television, if he can pull this off he could have a yearly gig. Also this bodes for well for his other project on NBC..

          Excellent point! I think the NBC up-fronts are May 16 hope to hear some positive news by then. "Crunch Time" sounds much more interesting than 7B did.

            Well, the network slaughter has begun. Lots of cancellations, lots of renewals, and a few pick-ups announced over the last couple of days. Unfortunately so far, anyway Crunch Time (or "Time Crunch," as it is now called, apparently) is not among them. THR and a few other outlets are reporting it's been passed over:

              I thought Craig was great as host and the amount raised was up on last year. Too bad the ratings sucked.
