I just had the random thought that Craig Ferguson might be a fantastic new host for The Daily Show when Jon Stewart leaves. Ferguson is consistently hailed as the best interviewer on recent late night television. His interview of Archbishop Desmond Tutu was one of the best things I've seen on television in ages. Would he do it? Am I the only one who thinks he'd be great?

Could he? Sure. Would he? Doubtful. I can't imagine he'd want to sign up for another show with a "daily" commitment again, so soon after leaving TLLS.
