That's not the smartest of questions, sweetie. Actors play a variety of characters and thus portray a variety of personalities. From what I've seen of Pam Ferris in interviews, she seems like a perfectly normal person. =P

She's a really amazing actress and very nice.
She may seem mean in Matilda but that is because she is paid to be mean as that is what her character is.
Look at people like Captain Hook in the old Hook film with Robin Williams. Do you see Hoffman act like Hook in real life?
