She was wonderful in the Darling Buds of May but her most impressive role was as the Trunchbull. That was acting worthy of an Oscar.

I've recently seen Pam F2000erris get killed off in "Where the heart is" and in "call the midwife". So odd watched them almost back to back however filmed in such different times. Odd they would kill off her character after just returning (midwife)
