she gave one of the best performances in a childrens film (matched only by Glen Close as Cruella for me).

I agree, it's ridiculous that she wasn't even nominated. Pam is one of the UK's most versatile actresses - she must be as she can switch from kind and endearing to cruel and sadistic in a second. She should have been acknowledge for her portrayal of Trunchbull.
