I love every episode of Rockford she is in, if only briefly,
and Newhart.
God I wish she had played Emily, nothing against Suzanne, but this woman was HOT! -

I think she left the business after getting into movie distribution, which is a business several members of her family were in. I often wonder whether these actors, who moved onto other things, ever get curious to see if anyone is still talking about them and check their IMDb message boards to see. (At least here, on long-gone actor forums, you don't have to worry about hordes of annoying teenagers posting up and down the board.)
I can only imagine Pat Finley, probably now in her 60s or maybe even 70s, reading this message about how she's hot and laughing her ass off!
She was cute though, I like her a lot in her 70s roles. She had pretty eyes and a nice face. She's little too, which is cute. -

I think you miss the point. Your judgement of her attractiveness seems to be drawn from some sort of fixed profile: almost a template so to speak.
Well, her attraciveness comes from seveal facets like that of a diamond. And in her own way, she is sexy - Why do you think so many of us remember her?
No, she does not fit into the Linda Evans or Bo Dereck catagory, which is exactly why so many of us males are atracted to her: but she has a cute everything they have - just smaller.
How can I best state this? How about she has all of the attractiveness of these people, but in smaller quantities. Many of us don't reuire big bouncing breasts, wide flashing super-white teeth, mega tight butts, and long shapely legs to find a female attractive and sexy.
Pat Finley has a winning sincere smile, a cute shapely butt, small but attractive breasts and, most of all, a fascinating' girl next door' movement,feel, quality, and look about her.
When I say the 'girl next door',I'm not referring to the teen bombshell (high school cheerleader) you peeked at from your bedroom window as she was picked up by her date for the prom. I was referencing the other 'girl next door', her cute younger sister that it took you a bit of time to notice - if you ever did.
I've seen that cheerleader from high school at my 50th high school reunion, and she's no where near the beauty she is in my memory. But the cute younger sister, Pat Finley, still looks very much like she did then - except she's older.
Buxom Beauties, even with a hell of a lot of plastic surgery, tend to fade away along with whatever personality they had! Sometimes that comes across on the screen.
Cute and nice, on the other hand, have a history of lasting a long time!
