(I was watching the Maltese Falcon today and went on IMDB to see the trivia for the movie. Geraldine Fitzgerald was mentioned, and when I went to her profile I was stricken by her resemblance with GA. I looked at the board to see if there were any threads about this fact, and yours was on the top of the list! Cool!)
