Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Will Forte

I know on SNL they pronounce it like FOR-tay, like the Italian word for loud, but is that right? I can't find anything about his heritage either way. He doesn't look Italian at all, and many years of being a musician have taught me the difference in using FOR-tay for loud and FORT or strength.
Right now I'm watching Beerfest, and he certainly looks and acts the German part well.
I look forward to two things every day, and both of them involve yanking a chain. S.P.
