I was surprised when I found out. But when she was famous in the 80's I always thought it was strange that you never saw her with more boyfriends. In those days she claimed that she had gone out with a boyfriend for 8 yrs from her teenage yrs to early 20's. Then the only other boyfriend I heard about was a guy from the group "Kiss".
I remember David Cassidy had a big crush on her, when they did a video together. I wonder what he thinks now, that he had a crush on a lesbian!
Well I still like her music and she had the right look then, but very surprised that she was so short. The videos made her look taller.

Well this comes as a relief and it explains a lot why I had one of her posters in a baby doll on my wall as a shy 14 year old year back in the 80s, maybe I had a gaydar even at that early age although I probably didn't even know the word back then ,lmaof
Seriously though like many bi women, I had a difficult time facing this side of my sexuality and for a long time denied my attraction to women, so finding out Samantha was one of us 20 years later makes me giggle like a school girl, I'm also so glad that she finally found happiness, wishing her and her wife many blissful years!!! -

go titans, you don't seem to understand much about sexual orientation. Do you? First of all it's not a choice. You make it seem like she actually chose to be with women, because as the old ridiculous stereotype goes, "if someone has a bad experience with the opposite sex, they run to the arms of their own sex" type of crap. Obviously she is NOT a gay woman, because she was in relationships with men. So I don't know where you get the idea that she is. She's clearly bisexual, and has even been open about it. It's who she is, and always has been. It's not a "recent" thing with her.

I just downloaded her video Let Me Be Free its a nude music video and recent shots of her. First I have seen of her in years. I thought the whole time looking at the video that she looked butch and her build even butched out. Not nearly as sexy as she used to be. That lead me to here, and sure enough she is butch!!

That is the case with most celebs,isn't it? Their same sex relations are strictly kept under the wraps until the coast is clear even if sometimes takes 15 years to open up like our dear Samantha here, I wish there was not such homophobia in our society so people could be open about who they desire not what society dictates them to desire, just my 2 cents
