A lot of people are saying "New York Groove" and "Into the Night" which are both not technically Ace songs (he didn't write them.) But if we're playing that game, then although it's really Tod Howarth's song, I really like "New Kind of Lover" from Second Sighting.
"Is that you crawling up my stairs?"

Correct. New York Groove was written by long time collaborator Russ Ballard (originally recorded by Hello in 1975, and a top ten hit in the United Kingdom and Germany in that version). I would say Parasite and Cold Gin and Shock Me are among his best.

Really love Into The Night and New York Groove. But I also like some of the songs Tod Howarth sang too.I think he's such an underrated vocalist. His vocals on Breakout are amazing. They were great on Calling To You,Time Ain't Runnin' Out,Something Moved,Fallen Angel, and of course his most well known Frehley's Comet tune,It's Over Now.I wonder what that would have sounded like if Cheap Trick used that song when Tod brought it them when he was in the band.I would give anything to see Ace put Frehley's Comet back together again for a reunion tour.
