Okay, I've heard Ace's last name pronounced as both "Fray-lee" and "Free-lee" - which is correct??

The correct pronunciation is "Free-lee" although in some accents (Australian for example) it can sometimes sound more like "Fray-lee".

It's "fray-lee." That's how Ace himself (not to mention his close friends and bandmates) pronounce it. There's no better source then that.
