She's English, with an English husband, with an English daughter, which strong roots to England, and she wants her daughter to speak with an English accent (since she may well be living in England for a large amount of time), and she said it in a harmless, humorous way.
I think the OP needs to grow up and get a perspective. -

Rochdaleproper English? Also, this isn't really how it works, is it? Your kid is going to have the accent of the place you grow up. I know more than one family who has had kids raised largely by Irish nannies, and none of the kids sound Irish in away way whatsoever.
