    after forgetting to lend the beach of my brother for ages i have FINALLY got it! i cant put it down even after the first page it hooked me in, still reading it but then after that i'll b investing in all his books!
    definatly added to my favourites 🙂

      I concur. The Beach is one of my all-time favorites. Very, very well-written.

        I read it once a year. And sometimes when Im bored, I open it on some random page and read. Its highly addictive.

            I wish Sunshine was a novel and not a script. The movie was quite good but I keep asking myself what the book would be like.

              I agree the Beach is an intoxicating adventure novel. Although the film adaptation as a whole was lost in translation, there were some wonderful moments from the book captured by Boyle, Konji and DiCaprio.
