My husband and I were watching Curb Your Enthusiasm many years back, and my husband turns to me and says "Hey, I know that guy. His name is really Jeff. He's the son of a really nice actress, Carol Garlin."
Many years ago, my husband made a very, very, low budget movie in Florida called "What's Wrong with the Neighbors Son?" Carol Garlin played the mom of the disturbed son (but in real life is a lovely lady). Jeff Garlin was not in the movie, but he had already been in 'Spring Break'. My hubby said both Jeff and his mom Carol were really nice. At the time, Jeff was saying he was going to do stand-up and move out to the west coast.

Jeff is actually my cousin. His mother, Carol is my mother's first cousin. He is actually one of the funniest guys I know. Years ago, we went to a ball game together and completely confused the food vendors and had everyone around us laughing hysterically. And the Cubs won the game.
