Why do the 'Oil' Companies get away with Price Gouging(1), Collusion(2), and Technology Suppression(3)? All of which are Illegal "LAST TIME I CHECKED". Why haven't We done anything about it? Because we can afford itBecause we have become a Nation of ostriches? At least He, in a position to do so Does, where as we as a whole pick our nose and say 'WHY SHOULD HE GET A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE FOR TRYING TO EDUCATE THE MASSES' wheres the "strategery" in that?
For the global warming hippies, it's a theory and only time will tell if you're right or not. So far history has largely proved you to be wrong and so-far the HUGE increase in temperature the past century(what 1 degree) is slightly abnormal and can be considered as an -Outlier-haha (also the melting ice caps will futher increase global prosperity)(don't you care about that too?)
Anyways, for the guy who posted the thing about oil companies. Anyways back in 2007 and prior I defended the oil companies/oil prices and -timed- proved me right. Your whole idea was completely crazy,ridiciolous and as you can see without any contention wrong. The price of oil rose due to demand, that is an elementary(literally) concept of economics. Now that demand has fallen, the price of oil plummted. If the idea of a conspiracy was true, then the same factors would exist now to increase the price of oil or logically based upon yours, it would have never fallen to the level it has or near it. Also the same counter-culuture will bemoan peak supply oil however the facts also dispute this a la' shale oil. At least a century worth just for America and once tapped, it very well could make us an exporter! -
