and the news of the alleged massage incident could not have come at a worse possible time. Word is, his accuser is going to make the media rounds. Were it not for his recent separation from Tipper, this story would otherwise seem to have Republican dirty tricks written all over it: This being an election year, the timing of it was no doubt orchestrated by party operatives so that Democrats would think twice about asking Gore to campaign with them.
Think about it: The alleged incident happened in 2006, when Bush hatred was at a fever pitch, even among Republicans. The GOP would not have dared to engineer the publicizing of these allegations at that time. They were waiting for justtherighttimeoh, yesnow. Bush is absent from the scene; Sarah Palin (The Fluffer) is milking her undeserved fame for all it's worth by pumping up the tea party reactionariesthe time couldn't be riper for this bombshell. Nothing gets conservatives fired up like seeing an influential liberal caught up in a good old-fashioned sex scandal.
