I think you will find she is doing all this on her own and trying not to get her mother to get her work as there second names don't match. I know my tv and movies i just found out this is her daughter. Also your Disgusting.

I agree there is nothing unique or even Good about her, except for being the daughter of a Fantastic Actress. I feel bad for her because it looks like she got the butt of the looks. Meryl is attractive in a unique way, especially when she was her daughters age. But Mamie is annoying with her acting that I can't stand to watch her and I hated her on Good Wife. Why they gave her a series is beyond me.

Well, regardless of who her mother is, and whether some people don't think she's good looking, I enjoyed her acting in The Lightkeepers. Besides, I think she has an interesting attractivenessnot a traditional "beauty."

She is very good at playing antagonists (the "bad guy"). Which, actually, is not so easy, acting wise. Give her break everyone! Can you imagine having Meryl Streep as your mother, if you were an actress, and having everyone compare you to her. Not an easy road to walk.

Yes, it's a much easier road of having an unknown for a mother, and not have the remote chance of getting auditions, nor mom's allowance so she doesn't have to wait tables.
Ask Mamie which one she'd prefer. How bizarre, the people that others feel sorry for. Ask Carol Burnett (who came from poverty) or Sly Stallone which is an easier road.
Now, it's time to to all chime in and label people trolls because they speak the truth, or because they don't admire her by virtue of being Streep's daughter. You're the ones being absurd.
