Linda is aging so gracefully. She looks at least ten years younger than she is. I enjoyed her on "Dallas", and she played her part well.

Besides being beautiful, she is a gifted actress. Her portrayal of Sue Ellen is right on the money! When I see her and Patrick Duff on the show it's like they picked those characters right back up from where they left off and never missed a beat.

Linda was always my favorite. During the height of the show DALLAS popularity, I lived about a quarter of a mile down the road from Southfork and was very aware of their comings and goings and stayed abreast of any knowledge concerning their filming schedules. My best pal and I would ride our horses through what was then open fields in order to get as close a look at any of them that we could.
I soon went to work for an airline and as a result, routinely came into contact with Ms. Gray and many other cast members.
As you might know from your own experience, traveling often brings out the worst in even the best of us. For the most part, they were all fairly nice, but she was especially so.always charming and unassuming and almost always effervescent and engaging.

Well to each his own, but I agree I think they were too. Back then, looks were all about the hair and she had a good head of it. Which brings me to a story.
I don't know if you're familiar with what a TGI-Fridays is but if not, they're a chain5b4 of casual restaurants.
One afternoon, circa somewhere in the early to mid-eighties, my mom, sister, a friend of hers, and I were eating lunch and in walks Principal, who was then seated next to our table.
Well this friend of my sister's, who's a bit obnoxious anyway and (at the time) a huge fan of VP's wouldn't wait til she scrambled to ask for her autograph.
VP otherwise very polite and gracious declined, citing that if she consented to signing one she'd be obligated and bombarded by other requests. I felt that was a very reasonable response.
While VP awaited the arrival of her lunch date, who I figured out later was her soon-to-be husband, Glassman, she proceeded to primp and brush out her beautiful locks right there at the table. My mom was especially aghast at this behavior. I laughed my ass off the rest of the afternoon having to hear how disappointed they all were.

'Fans are looking to be dissapointed'
That's exactly how I felt about it too and remember feeling slightly mortified to have been a part of it. Aside from brushing her hair out at the table, I forgot to add that after Glassman joined VP, the two engaged in what my mother thought were inappropriate PDAs.
Because of a fan's rejected request, (justifiable in my opinion however) poor VP was slanderously crucified for her dining etiquette for the rest of the afternoon.
I haven't followed her career with much interest so I don't know about her involvement with JR and therefore ignorant concerning your reference. I'll have to look that up.
