Shes not ugly. Shes just not 'Hollywood pretty'. Trust if she was just an average chick that worked at Baskin Robbins and grinned at a few of these naysayers a certain way, they'd jizz their Underoos at the actual attention from a female.
When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth. -

"Hollywood pretty" is a very boring look anyway. When I think of Hollywood's definition of attractive, I think of blonde women like with no soul and no charisma. Hollywood beauty was wonderful in the 40s to the 90s, when women were attainable and realistic looking. Now, everyone looks like a Stepford wife, way too "polished" with no variation. I'd pick Maggie over them any day. Plus, she has
real
talent and intelligence, and there's nothing more attractive than talent and intelligence. -

Well, throwing my two cents in.
I think she is truly one of the hottest/sexiest woman on the screen.
Something about her. And her short hair really fits her, just smoldering hot.
I love that sexy confident smile(smirk) that comes out in certain performances. -

No, no she's not. She's not hideous, but there's not one stand out feature. And I'm not jealous, I'm a guy.
Um, eyes? Smile? Her gorgeous skin? They all seem to stand out to me. In fact, before she was famous, when she had that tiny role in
Riding in Cars with Boys
, I remember thinking "wow, she's gorgeous, who is she?" -

I understand the conflicting views, those making derogatory statements aren't necessarily jealous, just rude and inconsiderate. most people understand that physical and other attractions vary, and I'm sure the justification in being derogatory about another persons appearance has a psychological basis that numerous books and studies could or have been based upon. I find her physically attractive, others do not. I expect the concept is reciprocal.
