We can all make irrational thread titles!
I find BOTH the Gyllenhaals very ugly, her AND her brother. I try to avoid films they're in.
Unfortunately, I watched 'Frank' today and wondered why there was a pug-faced middle aged woman in the band. I was told it was Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so you really should understand that absolutely no-one is attractive to EVERYBODY.
Obviously, no-one is ugly to everybody either. I'm able to understand that, even though I have an intense aversion to her face, some people find it appealing.
It would give you greater peace if you accepted that people genuinely view her differently to you.
