She was in a cheesy but cool TV movie around 1973: Gargoyles. It's available on DVD, and she played a motel owner, bit of a lush, in a stark desert community that has, um, certain non-human residents in the caves. You should be able to pick it up fairly cheap on Amazon.

Iguana is a must. But I also recommend 2 other films, Qui Etes Vou Polly Maggoo? a french film where she portrays a fashionista thinly veiled after Diana Vreeland. And the 1960 flick Satan in High Heels, she is a cabaret club owner who tries to make a lady out of a trollop. Her lines and de5b4livery are so clever they must've gone over every mainstream audiences head in the day.
Both are available on Netflix. -

I've only seen her in Dark Shadows (the TV show), House of Dark Shadows, Night of Dark Shadows, and Night of the Iguana. All of which she was absolutely incredible in. I think I will be getting Gargoyles on DVD as a Christmas present so I can't wait for that. I know she will be great, as she always is.
I've been waiting for you, Ben. -

Best work is DS, but I loved her in Gargoyles, which is now considered a cult classic.. She played almost the same quirky character as the lonely, boozy Dr Julia and although she is not in it for long, her character is memorable. If you don't buy the DVD, you can still occasionally find it for free on youtube. It had been decades since I'd seen it, but I did find on youtube it & and I watched it just this past year.

I don't like her on DS and wish that someone other than one of the writer's wife would have played the part. She is not attractive, has a voice I want to turn off,and she walks with a strange kind of walk. She is over the top melodramatic. I wish someone else had been 'Hoffman" it was supposed to be a man in the beginning.
