I completely agree that she is underrated & underused.
I think she is one of England's best actresses right now, not only in the way she talks and uses language, but the facial detail & emotions which she conveys perfectly and engages the audiences.
Personally, I like the odd bit of TV, but she is probably the only actress I've seen recently and confirmed by watching an old murder TV programme she did and Ashes to Ashes, that stands out against the rest. -

Keeley and Jodhi May are very similiar, both young beautiful talented actresses who've been underused and limited mainly to BBC television..
Last films:
Stupeur et tremblements 8/10
Pride and Prejudice(1995) 10/10 -

killakippa
, I think both are absolutely amazing. Jodhi May has famously turned her back on Hollywood after her breakout role in
Last of the Mohicans
, claiming this kind of celebrity completely doesn't suit her character.
I don't think Hawes is missing on much either. She is married to Matthew MacFadyen, who has famously done the same; not capitalise on his
Pride and Prejudice
notoriety and came back to British television and theatre instead.
