She was just great on Gimme A Break! as the middle child who was very intellectual. Does she remind anyone else of the girl from Life Goes On and who was on the show ER for a little while? Sorry but I can't remember her name right now 🙂 They're both gorgeous though.
*Just thought of the other actress that I was thinking of Kelli Martin.

Ha-haaaI remember that episode. I like the scene when Jack grabs her ponytails and says, "make a wish!" If my 35 year old memory serves me correctly.

Shey played a stereotypical nerdy teenager who couldn't recite lines the way they were written. She looked the part, but didn't sound the part. Good thing Lara Jill Miller was on the program because Lauri sounded like Meryl Streep compared to Lara Jill who couldn't act her way out of a paper sack to save her life.
Nell and Dolph carried the show and that's why the show survived five years. Adding Joey Lawrence was a mistake - a jump the shark moment for sure. And it seemed like the show had a "dumb character" quota they had to fill because each episode had at least one dumb character in it - season one had Angie, season two had the dumb grandpa, seasons 3-5 had the dumb officer simpson. Their lines were predictable, cheesy and lame and offered NOTHING to the show.
I've been watching the show again on Netflix and it's great because there are no commercial interuptions and it's not playing in syndication anymore so here's the link if you are interested in watching it online:

Take it easy. We're not making a western here.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I thought that she did well. I also enjoyed her performance on Three's Company as a young girl who had a crush on Jack 🙂

She was always my favorite on the show. She has grown up nicely.
-That's all the time we have, thanks for playing.
