Holding Out For A Hero (I know that's not the name of the song, but oh well)-the theme from Cover Up yesterday. I was thinking of Jon Erik when I heard it.

Rusty honey, you are correct. "Holding Out For A Hero" is the name of the song. I have Bonnie Tyler's Greatest Hits cd and I always think of JEH when I hear it too.

I always think of it as the "Theme Song from Cover Up" LOL

I always think of JEH when I hear either "Seven Year Ache" by Rosanne Cash or The Carpenter's "(They Long to Be) Close to You". The lyrics of both songs describe the reactions toward him to a tee.
          Seven Year Ache
The boys say, "when is he gonna give us some room"
The girls say, "God I hope he comes back soon"
(They Long to Be) Close to You
On the day that you were born the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair
Of golden starlight in your eyes of blue

Wasn't that song also used in Footloose?
Do I lose my man-card if I admit to owning that album?

LOL, yes it was, the original version. And no, you don't lose your man-card for admitting that, in fact, I think it gives you extra coolness points because you did. I'm all for guys admitting they like movies/soundtracks like that. Just means you're more well rounded, and don't have the typical cave man mentality.
                You, sir, are TheRealMan! LOL!

Funny, I always think of Ghostbuster 2. The part where they are in the statue of liberty walking through New York.
