After Bob Denver passed away I had an occasion to e-mail Dwayne Hickman regarding the passing of Denver. Well, I received the most wonderful e-mail back from Dwayne expressing his sorrow over the passing of Denver. He is doing so well now and he looks great. One should look him up and see how nice and appreciative he is.

He was at a local art gallary here in Northport NY a few years ago. There was a showing of his art, Both he and his wife were very nice and gracious to me, despite not being able to buy any his paintings.(They were a bit pricey)A genuine thrill. Even asked him about Cat Ballou and Dobbie Gillis..

I am glad to hear that he was nice to you. He and his wife were very rude and unfriendly to both my husband and myself and a few other people that were at the showing. Maybe they had a bad day, but that is no way to get or keep a customer (or fans for that matter).

That is very true! Dwayne is such a great actor, fine talent and wonderful person and an outstanding credit to Hollywood!
This is wonderful to hear that he is doing well and looking great. Isn't it just very wonderful to see how nice and appreciative the genuine celebrities really are? -

Dwayne and I had brief discussion on his site a few years back about of all things The Three Stooges. he had talked about how he had known Larry Fine personally up Untill his death and about what a great person Fine was.
Dwayne was very polite it was awesome.
