i think that she was growing a great deal throughout series four, thanks to the crew of moya, but with scorpius she seemed more focus on proving herself than IMproving herself.
i felt that a lot of the time the writers just weren't very decisive with her character though. i mean if she was created to aid the kaleish resistance then why was she part of a group that harvest leviathans?

well the resistance was an undercover thing before the whole attack of the base and what is better cover job for having acess to many ships and unrestricted travel than ship hunter?

yeah i agree that it would have been possible.
I think it was their plan from the beginning to make her switch sides, but since they only had the movie to play out her plot it felt forced and rushed.
Since she jumped from scorpious' bitch to basically his biggest enemy from the last episode of season 4 to the movie it didnt feel right.
Who knows how awesome farscape would have been if it kept going and didnt get cancelled.
I guarentee it got cancelled because john made it back to earth. The "journey" felt kind of forced at that point. Also, it was reaaaally lame how they handled it. Johns dad being scarred by the 9/11 attacks? He was like paranoid and weird because of it.
Being somewhat military he would have understood what 9/11 meant. That the USA gets threats every day and most are stopped before they happen. He wouldnt have crumbled and fell into the scaremongering done by the media. -

It was cancelled because it cost too much money in Australia. If it had been in Canada, it would have been just fine. That is how Stargate was able to go 10 seasons.
Secondly, the fan base was limited. You have to keep in mind Farscape had puppets and was NOT aimed towards children. It had nudity, sex, graphic violence and adult themes and situations. Puppets are for children. The fanbase for Farscape was limited to nerds, geeks, and fanboys and fangirls. The kind of people that go to Star Trek conventions dressed as Vulcans and Orion slave girls. -

Sikozu is the my favourite character in the whole show, she was so interesting! Her own agenda made her really special.
I have to say the most disappointing plot in the show was Sikozu being the traitor in PKW, since it didn't fit her. She was actually really smart so she wouldn't let the Scarrans lie to her and, come on, she was so worried the Scarrans would know about the genetically-enhanced Kalish like her, she was a part of the Kalish Resistance and she used her special Scarran-killing ability, so Sikozu being the spy is really a plot hole.
The only reason Sikozu would do that was she realy thought it would the best for the Resistance. However, I don't buy she would become a Scarran spy so easily, while she was aboard Scorpius's ship!
I could have accepted that plot, however, if they had properly developed that plot. If they had made a 5th season, they would've been able to. Sikozu might have been disappointed with Scorpius' intentions, they might have argued about how to fight the Scarrans, she might have feel betrayed Then a Scarran agent would have contacted her, she'd probably refused at the beginning, but after some unexpected event (e.g. the Scarrans discover the existence of genetically-enhanced Kalish), she is afraid they will never be able to defeat the Scarrans and decides a new way to reach their goal. It wouldn't still explain why she killed several Scarrans in the ship in PKW when all the crew were prisoners. Maybe she was in fact a double agent? The "they promised freedom for my people" wasn't a proper explanation. I know time is limited in a miniseries but if they couldn't give us a realistic explanation about Sikozu being the spy, then they should have ignored Wayne's suggestion and they shouldn't have changed the script. -

Sikozu was a biloid right? and as we saw with the Aeyrn and Stark biloids they were just copys, like replicants, and Stark was in a pod, while his biloid was somewhat out if character. So maybe the Sikozu we saw was just a copy as well and it was the biloid that met its fate in PKW, there might still be the real Sikozu out there right?

The way I see it, Sikozu wasn't a biloid like those that looked like Aeryn and Stark, but a genetically-enhanced Kalish using bioloid technology. Remember when the Aeryon look-alike bioloid was shot, you could see it was robotic. On the other hand, when Sikozu was hurt, she could re-attach parts of her body, which looked organic and wasn't robotic. I don't think Sikozu was the same than these bioloids, therefore I don't believe there was a "real" Sikozu other than the one we know.
Anyway, are any of you reading the Farscape comic by Boom! Studios? They're considered canon, and the Farscape crew is involved. I really enjoy them, and I think it proves some of us (me included) were wrong about Sikozu and PKW:
Sikozu comes back in Strange Detractors #3! The Kalish did get their freedom thanks to Sikozu, but her people didn't forgive her for being a Scarran agent so she was exiled. They also explain Sikozu became a Scarran spy because Scorpius wasn't interested in Kalish freedom (I think Sikozu says it was a tertiary objective for him at best). After reading that, I understand better Sikozu's evolution and why she helped the Scarrans (not a perfect plot, but at least we got an explanation).
Anyway, after that issue, Sikozu became a part of Moya's crew again. Hope to see more of her, she's been a secondary character since then, but the comic series focuses on John, Aeryn and their son. The way Sikozu is portrayed is fine for me though, and she's wearing her old reddish clothes again (her hair is still short). -

Guys, if you are fans of Sikozu/Raelee, please consider sending her a message via this year's fan book.
There is a thread on the board for it, or you can pm me.
The deadline is October 1st and I only have space left for about 18 messages.
This looks to be the last year that Farscape fandom is doing books to present at the conventions, so you may not get another chance to tell Raelee what you liked about Sikozu/ her/ her other portrayals.
The only stipulation is that I will not accept anything suggestive or rude.
Thank you. -

Update on Farscape comics (Farscape Ongoing 15). Big spoiler ahead, you're warned.
Sikozu is dead.
She performed a kamikaze attack in order to let Moya escape from a Kkore attack. I feel a bit disappointed but that was a heroic death, much better than her apparent death in Peacekeeper Wars. I'm glad the comic series brought her back, and they explained why she became the Scarran spy.
I also feel Sikozu was a bit underused in the comic series. She didn't really meet Scorpius again (in the previous issue, Scorpius just sent her a recorded message telling her the Kalish had been wiped out, which was a ). She had a nice part in "Red Sky At Morning" when they met the Pilots and later was injured, but I was hoping we could see more of her. Anyway, I was happy to see more Sikozu stories in the comics. -

The Farscape comic series is now over. About the last issue:
Sikozu is featured after the battle is over, in a memorial which remembers all the people who died fighting the Kkore. So she technically appeared in the finale. It was a good end to the comic series.
This issue is told by an over 200 years old Deke, who's telling the story of the war to a bunch of kids from different species. In the last page, a Hynerian child (maybe a descendant of Rygel?) says he wants to know if Sikozu and Jothee (who died too) are really dead because we didn't see the bodies! I smiled and laughed at that, because this is sci-fi and everything can happen So I choose2000 to believe Sikozu is alive somewhere and she'll have her own adventures.
