Maybe it's because his name is easy to remember but this man is not a good jason. His arms are too short, he is not tall

I know and Graham was perfectly fine. I was just saying that Kane put his own spin on Jason, just like everyone before did.
I think most people like Kane because he enjoyed playing Jason and wanted to keep coming back, instead of it being a one off role.
Ted White was pretty awesome in The Final Chapter as well.
"You are tearing me apart, Lisa!"" The Room..a cinematic masterpiece. -

Yes and he played Jason the most, so I guess that's where he becomes the "definitive Jason".
I think Ted White was my favorite Jason, although I don't really think about it too much because I don't really notice big differences in the Jasons. -

you're missing the point, people love him because he actually wanted to play the character multiple times, and would do many harsh stunts, it wasn't about the money, he liked the character, the others just did it as a summer job and couldn't care about returning, hes' the one that gave him rules and tried to channel what jason would think and do, with the acting and anger he put in it, that's why people think he's the best because he didn't do it for money.

Yeah, Kane Hodder is somehow self-proclaimed as the definitive Jason, but you're totally right that the Friday films he was in are among the worst of the series/franchise with the only exception being Part 5 (which Hodder wasn't in because he didn't start until Part 7).
I mean, Hodder wasn't necessarily awful as Jason in the films he was in. It's just that the films he WAS in were made long after the series had already become a parody of itself.
I, for one, personally didn't care that Hodder wasn't asked to reprise the role in Freddy vs. Jason. And I found there was really no discernable difference between the depiction of Jason in the Freddy vs. Jason film and all of the ones Hodder had been in.2000 At no time while watching Freddy vs. Jason did I think that it would have been an even marginally better film had Hodder been playing Jason.
It's always been a source of irritation to me in both the Crystal Lake Memories book (and now the recently released 2 dvd set), as well as the His Name Was Jason documentary that came out 5 years ago, how Hodder just goes on and on about how he was THE definitive Jason and how he should have been in Freddy vs. Jason. I mean, the only halfway good Friday The Thirteenth movie Hodder was ever in was his first appearance as Jason in Part 7, and most of that had to do with the Jason makeup. Friday 8 was one of the worst of the series (honestly, I'd rather watch Part 5 than Part 8 if I had to make a choice). Jason Goes To Hell stunk. Jason X / 'Jason In Space' was okay.
I'd agree that 3, 4 and 6 had the best Jasons of the series. -

Also I hate how he says jason wouldnt do that says who?
^Thank you for saying this. I totally came here to post the same thought. I really hate it when he does that too.
When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth. -

I think he's a beep Jason. That breathing crap he does is just irritating and adds nothing to the character. I was glad to see he got replaced for Freddy vs Jason. I doubt he'll be anywhere near the role in future films too thankfully.
