          Very sad to read of his passing. First saw him in a short-lived sitcom called "Mr. Merlin", a sort of precursor to the "zany teens dealing with magic" concept of "Weird Science", and LOVED him in "The Lost Boys". Agreed, his last line is one of the best last lines in a film. Quite a character. (Mr. Hughes I mean, lol, not the literal character in the film)
