I bought "Citizen Hughs" back in the 80's and read it. It iwas the most riviting book about his secluded life and took you into his world. I thought it was an outstandin bio. Unbelieveable how much you learn about him during those years. If everyone would read it , they would know alot more about him than they realize. Talk about "money talks", even when he was secluded his money got him anything he wanted.
Wouldnt it be great to be the person that got his secret papers from the unnamed person contact? And the one who stole them to have gone through his warehouse and found them. What a museum that must have been and to see history. -

I'm only about 1/4 through the book and enjoying it very much.
Love the way the writer just rats on everybody; "the CIA trying to eliminate Castro with exploding seashells, and a powerful depilatory to make his beard fall out." This cracks me up everytime I think about it.
