I figure you right.. But life had so many twists and turns ..I didnt' know til just lately that HH owned the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff , Dallas even with all the publicity over it in those years after the assination..or that the movie houses he used might have been good places for CIA to meet operatives.
My deceased husband was and is in the films shown as they bring Oswald out of the movie house ..he was just a bystander..all he was doing was having lunch with his friend who owned a jewelry store next door and they were just standing outside the shop finishing up conversation when they brought him out
I kind of not high on the IQ scale, MENSA certainly not knocking on my door..and rich certainly not that..but when Irving was doing his book on Hughes and all that stuff came out about how he lived..makes one wonder if the smaller blessing aren't the best..and I have lots of those..
will not bother you again and keep posting so I can read them.

I wonder where you pulled this crap from because that is an utter fabrication. I know there are elements of his life that are well-documented in reference to the public's fascination and attention to him, but on a personal level, very little is known about Hughes. He had many mental conditions that kept him in recluse alot, not to mention his multiple rumored phobias. The personal life of Hughes is only preserved by the FEW people he actually trusted and of course even all of them don't know everything. Some will claim to know, but ultimately it all died with Hughes. Try looking around on the net and you will find one common theme and that is that there isn't any. There are tons of different stories and tales, but few of them are unanimously reported.
To investigate further, I asked an ex-boss of mine, who is definitely old enough to remember what it was like to have Hughes in the headlines. He said that there were many times when the general public would ask, "What is Hughes up to? Where is he? We haven't seen him for years!" I also asked my grandmother about Hughes and she pretty much verified the sa5b4me thing. She said that people knew very little about Hughes. That's why the public was fascinated by him when he was around.
I am not a Hughes expert, though I would love to read what I can about him. I do know that based on asking those I know who lived then and internet searches, Hughes was a pretty quiet, reserved person -kind of ironic considering the impact he had on the world.

Quote: Oh, the movie? Aviator? Saw it last night. I thought they filmed it thinking A Beautiful Mind was such a success, and so made another one with an aviator Schizo ..had too much stolen from that film.
How could they have stolen from A Beautiful Mind when The Aviator began filming 8 years ago, and A Beautiful Mind just came out a year or 2 ago.

Howard Hughes had OCD aka obsessive compulsive disorder. It meant he had to do things repeatedly until he got the feeling down right..

He had much more than OCD.

I'm sure it took a while for post production and reshoots and all that, but
                eight
years? Scorsese said on many occasions he shot the film in twenty-nine days or somesuch.

Howard Hughes was no chump. When the USA got into trouble presidents would call on him because in his mind nothing was impossible. Nixon called on him for the impossible job of recove2000ring one of USSR's sunken submarines on the ocean floor since it had live nuclear missles still on board. He said he would handle it and put his engineers to work. He was successful. He had a new ship designed just to cover the operation from prying eyes. The last public photo taken of HH was in 1952. OCD is a chemical imbalance in the brain, his mother had it. After his plane crash in 1946 he became addicted to morphine and codeine during his stay in the hospital. It was a downward spiral after that crash, but he could pull himself together until the early 60's.

This is about the only picture I could find of the infamous late-era Hughes, even then I think it's a painting now that I look at it. It's always been creepy to me, what happened to him..

go to google type his name and go on the images and go to number 2 then go down to a black poster where it says howard hughes click on that and you'll see some sketch-colord arts of him in his later years

                              This site here: http://www.bugsweeps.com/info/howard_hughes.html
It had a lot of sketches of Hughes in his latter life, with a lot of cool captions. Definitely something to take a look at.
