According to this interview with Darwin Porter, a biographer, Howard Hughes did have sex with men as well as women. Some of the men mentioned in1c84 the interview are Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Randolph Scott, Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power, Robert Taylor and Spencer Tracy.

The author adresses the reliability of his sources a bit in the interview.
However after reading some posts here by people who seem well informed and have read some of his other work the author doesn't seem credible. You might want to read posts about that in these threads:

Darwin Porter is the least credible author you could ever read.
Howard Hughes's FBI File ran into thousands of pages - there isn't even one hint of bisexuality .
Any relationship however discreet would have surfaced -

Yes, but FBI files are not as accurate as jerkbirdbrain files. He knows partners, locations, gifts, and even positions. He has made this study his life's work. Not much pay, but the fringe benefits (especially tittering) are terrific.
