Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Diana Hyland

I have been a HUGE fan of Diana Hyland's for over 20 years. I have managed to get most of her guest starring appearances on either VHS or DVD, besides having tons of photos and lots of magazine articles. My collection is HUGE. I often wondered what kind of person she was in real life, and I think maybe one of the roles she played came close. It was an episode of "The Fugitive" called "Dossier on a Diplomat" from 1967. Her character kinda flirted with David Janssen's character, and at the end of the episode, she helped him out. Anyone else see this one? She's great in the "I Spy" episode "So Coldly Sweet" - really beautiful! Also, loved her in the "Run for Your Life" episode "I am the late Diana Hayes" in her white go-go boots, playing guitar and singing.

I wish I had the collection of Diana Hyland video appearances you do. I do have some old photos, though and trying to build on it. I even saw her childhouse in Ohio. It's still standing after all these years! Although she died before I was born, I know talent when I see it, and she has it.
My understanding is that in real life she was very loyal to her friends, and of course loved her son more than anything.
