If Jennifer Irwin was born in 1975 then that would have made her about 10 or 11 when she filmed 'The Gate'. Surely an error. Jennifer was a teenager in the movie and must have been aged at least 14.

funny that i found this board. i was looking up an old Care Bears tv special that i loved when i was a kid. it was The Care Bears Battle the Freeze Machine. it was the second of two specials that served as pilots for the actual series (which was done by different people). Aaaanyway, i left the wikipedia article open on my laptop and then proceeded to watch The Gate on tv. Jennifer Irwin's name was in the opening credits. it seemed not just familiar - i knew i'd just s1ebceen it somewhere. well, on the sidebar with the info about Battle the Freeze Machine, she is listed as one of the editors. it came out in 1984. so if she was born in 1975, she edited this when she was nine years old?!?!
obviously, it could just be a different Jennifer Irwin and someone messed up by making that name link to the actress in question. But it was a Canadian production and she's Canadian and did a fair amount of work on Canadian tv and movies early on. And now i come here and find out that people suspect that the 1975 birthdate can't be right. I don't know what to think. but man, what a strange, strange coincidence either way. -

I saw all the 'Still Standing' eps on Lifetime, so all in a short period of time. I thought it unusual that she was supposedly 27 when she started the show in 2002, but who's character was supposed to be within a year or two of Jami Gertz. I always thought she was hot, but the age seemed a little low.
Tonight she was a guest start on 'Lie to Me'. I saw her name in the credits and I knew it was familiar, then I saw her but still couldn't place where I knew her from until I looked it up here right now. She had obviously aged on tonight's episode, without remembering who she was I thought early 40's, which would be a birthdate in the late 1960's.
