This may be of interest. I was shooting a commercial in 1982 in HOUSTON. The driver we used in the film told me that he had just finished working on a pilot TV series, BRENDA STARR. He told me that the star was SHERRY JACKSON. He said that she was stunning and did a great job as BRENDA. Talk about perfect fits. SHERRY was a natural choice to be the gorgeous red headed comic book/strip adventuress and reporter created by immmortal female artist, DALE MESSICK.

Mamacita she was. I just saw her for the first time watching through Star Trek TOS (since the show was cancelled 10 years prior to my birth I thought I might catch up, lol] and I was just like "Wow, who is that?" and looked her up. It's a shame she didn't make it big. But just form that performance alone I'm interested in seeing what else she's done. Incidentally for those who want to know (and don't already) cbs's website is broadcasting all 79 episodes of the Star Trek the original series, some of the episodes remastered in HD, and quite imrepssively so. Go check it out!
This is a spolier. This is only a spoiler. If it had been an actual spoiler, you wouldn't have just wasted 10 seconds of your life. -

You got her clothes but I slept in her childhood bedroom years later, of course. She lived for a while on Waring Avenue, in a funny little house on a tiny lot. Near La Brea I haven't been back to LA in many, many years. From what I've seen in the media LA is just awful. But I don't think Redondo Beach has become a slum. No beach town in SoCal could go that way.

That person is crazy. Redondo Beach is a beautiful place, very high end and I didn't see a hooker in sight except when I looked in my car's mirror. It is also free of smog and quite pretty. Sherry was amazing in Stingray, a low budget movie made watchable by her alone. I see nothing wrong with posing nude too bad she doesn't have a good memory of that. How many women look that good naturally these days?

Thanks for the pic, Hibs. I think we can discount the post labelling her as "not well". She looks great. She still has those pretty, warm eyes that were so enchanting in her youth.

Why did she stop acting? That just seems to suggest that she is not very committed to acting. I guess she has earned enough money from it that she can live comfortably. Does she still work?

FYI.Just noticed she will appear at the Courts Hollywood Show in Chicago in March 2010.Always thought she was a standout in a sea of gorgeous young actresses. Also sorry to hear she regrets her Playboy shoot. I, for one(among millions) am very grateful her unique beauty was captured for the ages.
