Only Christians force their beliefs upon people? What country and planet have you been living on?

I have no qualms with her Christianity. I have qualms with her complete ignorance of fascism, socialism and liberal political beliefs, as well as her gullibility of the punditry that powers much of cable news nowadays. She seems to believe anything that gets shoved through her pigeonholed life, and it's completely infuriating.

of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion. that's because our country has a president and not a dictator. the difference is not that she's christian, it's that she's spouting off about things she doesn't understand, and on a highly watched NEWS station. just because she's famous (sort of) doesn't mean she can just taut lies and conjecture on national television as if they were truth. we, and she especially as someone with this kind of access to public media, have a responsibility for what we put out there for everyone to hear. some people will believe anything they hear if it's on television. of course anyone who watches fox expecting the news is a lost cause anyway
and as a jewish person i find it irresponsible and moronic of her to compare ANYTHING to the holocaust and hitler, just because it's something she disagrees with. does she even know what happened during the holocaust??? ugh, the ignorance is astounding. -

@ATSEXTON - I do know that abortion is not biblicaljust stating facts
Then you should learn what the word "facts" means.
The bible not only condones abortion, it provides instructions on how to perform one. Granted, just like almost everything in the bible, the instructions are wrong, but they're there nonetheless.

This is what I thought was narrow-minded.
"If you're christian, you're pretty much obligated to have that point of view."
Have you heard many Christians say this? I have never heard this type of thing about any liberal and I have been to many churches. The worst I have heard is that Obama (or whichever liberal in particular they were talking about at the time) is a Socialist, not a Communist or that he should be compared to Hitler. Sorry is you have heard this. I don't care what celebrities have to say either way, as many times they are just trying to get attention. Many have inflated egos and actually think people care about their opinions. Hollywood doesn't impress me much at all.

Actually, when I said "obligated" I meant being pro-bush in general, and being anti-obama. Not really talking about specific details.
And I say that because bush is known for his christian beliefs, and that alone will (more often than not), persuade christians to side with him. -

I agree with you on that. I voted for him but by his second term, I was sorry I did. But I read today that Christians are as likely to vote Dem as they are Rep. Don't know if that's because Blacks tend to vote Dem, Christian or not, but it was interesting to read that.

On the Daily Show "Moment of Zen," I just saw the clip from O'Reilly (I guess) calling Obama a communist. I was absolutely sure that she was playing "ditzy" because she said she knows he's a communist because she watches Glenn Beck. And she said it with that trademark glassy-eyed stare she used on SNL. But maybe I've misjudged her all these years maybe she really IS off-balance

so this blonde, highpitched, dog whistle sounding woman was once a part of popular culture?
i'm watching her on Geraldo At Large right now and she looks like 50 miles of bad road.
these views seem normal though, if you did what she probably did to get a career in "Liberal" Hollywood. you'd hate em too, if they put "that", "there" for a chance at a movie role. the send-offs are probably in the Taliban or hung themselves years ago.
laughable at best. i'm a firm believer that you are not allowed to play a ditz and then act like your opinion means something after it.
Schwartzenegger always played a bada**. that gives him the right to his views. he chose his roles to suit his mindset.
if you play the dumba**, you chose that, too.
Ms. Jackson. please sit back and just let things unfold. you are NOT, nor EVER will be helping a movement that is fronted by a woman that will probably play you in a life story of YOU, convincingly, in a Hollywood flick.
you are only doing a dis-service to your country when you "shill" yourself.
and i'd be worried about taxes too, if my last gig was "UHF".
bless and please send us someone who stirs the public.
sincerely,
doc
