Do you think Victoria changed recently, or was she always Conservative?

Yeah considering how extreme she is, I'm tending to agree with you. Makes me wonder why she'd even choose to go into the entertainment industry in the first place (which is Liberal leaning). Especially comedy, which goes against everything most Conservatives like anyway.
Even if she's so uptight about gays (and with sex, period), she could at least be more like Kirk Cameron. I disagree with him, but at least he seems like a nice guy personally, and just calmly expressed his opinion without being hateful or mean. -

Kirk Cameron demanded that a lead female get fired from the show because she had posed nude for Playboy. He created publicity over her photos when there had been none, and possibly ruined her career. He also criticised her when he saw her reading science books, saying she'd burn in hell. He apologised for his "immaturity" years later, but still refused to talk to her after they later ran into each other. He got them to cast his real-life girlfriend in order to replace her. I understand that Alan Thicke (a genuinely nice guy) outright despised Kirk.

^ I forgot about how much of a nutjob Kirk was towards the end of Growing Pains. What right did he have to try and call the shots about a co-star of his, when it didn't have anything to do with work? He still doesn't seem as bad as Victoria, but he's at least somewhat of a narrow minded right wing prude. I really dislike what he said on Piers Morgan about how he wouldn't support one of his kids if they turned out gay.
But back to Victoria my original point last year was that, there's NO WAY she could've been THIS hardcore of a Christian right-winger back in the day without having it come up in some interview or getting in an argument with some of her co-stars. It had to be in more recent years that something changed her views.
I really liked her when I was a kid and thought she was so beautiful/hot and funny and a great actress, so it makes me sad to see her turn out this way. I might be able to be at least more understanding (though I'd still disagree with her) if she was open and honest about why she changed her waysor at least didn't phrase it in such a hateful close-minded way. -

He was admired by some in the early 90's, and admired by some in the 60's, and by some now. He's also hated by some.
Why do you say he was "greatly" admired in the 90's?
