maybe she an teach you how not to be funny. she was always the worst of her ensemble. having a silly voice and acting ditzy was funny.in the 1920's. Of course, she wasn't acting stupid..she really is. Anyone who thinks Obama is a communist can't be very bright. It's not so much 'crazy christians' but the 'hateful christians' that concern me.

Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.
What part of this does the Obama/Biden platform have a problem with? -

What do you get when you mix up Communists, Socialists, Social Democrats, "New Labour" movements and New Dealers?
A strawman argument!

An attack on Pat Robertson and the institutions he controls and/or heavily influences is not an attack on Christianity in general.
Lots of people respect the Christian faith and still detest Pat Robertson and what he stands for. Quite a few of those people are themselves devout Christians.
I certainly hold his "the capital gains tax makes Jesus cry" theology in utter contempt.
I wonder how much of the Regent U. endowment comes from blood diamonds -

"I love how people automatically assume Christians are crazy"
All Christians? No. Christians who willingly push their kids into a farcical diploma mill just to shield them from reality and turn their still-developing faith into full-scale religious fanaticism? Absolutely. If not "crazy", then at least "dangerously stupid". -

Well, if someone came up to you and started telling you about how the government should be based on Gilgamesh, or Cthulhu, or Zeus, or Quetzalcoatl, or Thor you might think they were crazy too.
I cannot go a single day without quoting the Torah or the Christian Bible. Many of the stories are deeply moving and have helped me to be a better person. However, I do think viewing these stories in a literal manner is socially corb68rosive and a sign of mental weakness.
