I think its fair to compare Star Wars to Marvel movies when both are under Disney
dont you? MCU is not 14 movies but it never actually moved forwardit is still the same formula its only getting bigger thats allWhy is that? Why change anything if it makes money. And as long as nostalgia formula will make money, Star Wars will never move forward
Personally the only spin-offs I would be interested in are movies from times of The Old Republic (And I think many many SW fans would go see them 100%) and Ewan McGregors Obi-Wan movie.
Rogue One and Han Solo trilogy I could not be lees excited about. And me NOT being excited about s Star Wars moviethere must be something wrong. I was off the charts hyped for TFA BUT I had my doubts. But thanks to Disney and beep (:D) Im afraid Im not a fan of this new Star Wars. Anyway I think of it more like and ALTERNATIVE universe -

For a time how Marvel and Disney conducted business was different from each other. For the most part Disney did keep far enough away from how Marvel ran things, but I think that maybe changing. With the announcement of that new SpiderMan Homecoming film, which is supposed to heavy with the SJW elements, things maybe turning for the worse at Marvel and I don't know how that's going to turn out with fans.
The MCU films are getting bigger, no doubt there. Looking at what they're doing with SpiderMan does make me feel uneasy.
Star Wars will nothing but nostalgia cash grabs and agenda pushing from now on. They're too busy pushing the feminist angle in the films to really care about doing anything else. There is so much material they could use but really won'tnot in the way the fans would like. They've thrown the EU into the trash, then started to cherry pick parts of the stories to shoehorn and mix them together like putting into a blender to make these films. That's lazy and will ultimately be the downfall of the entire franchise.
I can't get excited for the new films because they are not Star Wars films. They carry the title, but they lack any of the feel or vibes the Lucas versions had. If they have to remind people with a title like.."A Star Wars Story"right above the name of the fib68lmthat's not a good sign. It's not really a Star Wars film, it's nothing more than a expensive fan film.
I am really finished with Star Wars and that does hurt me, since I have been a lifelong fan, but Disney changed that for me.I don't recognize it anymore. It's a total stranger to me. Now I can't stand it. I loathe it. -

I just agree with you on everything

they use the sjw stuff also to wider the audience and at the same time pander to liberals so if you criticise itwell you know how it ends
I am life long fan too
I love prequels! I grew up with themyes you cant undo some things but those films are so exciting even today and the level of artistic value is beyond beautifulIt was new fresh look at the older era in star wars universe, before the war. George WANTED to bring b16d0eauty into that universe and he succeeded tremendously! The level of imagination! OMG every single design became iconic.
The story? I love it! That the whole time heroes were playing into villains cards? Im sorry I think its briliant! Ian McDiarmid went so crazy in Revenge it is just fun to watch him!
I can say so many great things about what George did with prequels
Of course through time I see the flaws but those in no way ruin the trilogy for me at allThere is just too much good in those movies!
You cant undo Haydens casting plus George is really bad at giving actors directions plus his way of dialogue iswell you know

Whatever criticisms can be said about the Prequels, they were from the man who created Star Wars. He gave those films the Star Wars Magic that is sorely lacking in the films now. There is no real imagination to the Disney crap now..they're just stripmining everything from the EU and mixing it together to make these new films. That is freaking lazy.
I did like the political undertones in the Prequels as well as the strings being pulled by Palpatine.
The Prequels were praised at the time and were popular but trends change and when those RedLetter twits did that video bashing the Prequels, the hate toward Lucas and the films intensified. So much so he sold off the rights to "White Slavers" and we're at where we are now. I hate it! -

What is wrong with her eyes, not her talent.
Indeed, her eyes look cold. Can be a good serial killer role in the future.
She does look cold. She has a creepy soulless look to her. I get weirded out when I look at her. She does say that likes to play a "fantasy version" of herself, so her playing a evil killer like the one in Inferno is right up her alley. She even liked doing the role and film..and loved the script. That tells me what exactly she islurking underneath that fake smile she sportsa sociopath, psycho. It's not really "acting" with her. It's inside her. That explains why she has that weird cold look to her, because that's what she is inside SHE HAS NO SOUL, because when you look at her, the eyes, there's no soul to seeit's empty.
I'm also hearing that she has a drug problem. She is a massive pot head. She likes to get stoned out of her mind.
She's fond of cocaine as wellshe likes to snort up some before press junkets or industry event gatherings, like the Bafta one. She likes Alcohol too.
