When I heard from my Mum that one of my favourite actors had sunk to depths of
Emmerdale
(she's a fan), I was not pleased. But, having caught a clip of him when at my parents' a few weeks ago, there was the great man (almost unrecognisable) giving a great performance as always. He appears to have been given a good script and original character.
I just hope audiences remember him for more than just his acting in a soap opera.
