    He played a quarterback named Valentine in the second season. I think his character was only around for a few episodes, until he died from a cocaine overdose.

      He didnt die. He was traded to Buffalo, then later brought back. I have the entire 1st and 10 series.

          I'm about 10 years late, but I picked up the complete series 10 years ago at a $10 bin at best buy or walmart or some such place. I'm sure you can find it online for $3 now. The recordings were a mishmash of original HBO showing (complete with nudity and language) and edited versions for broadcast TV.
