I have to agree. The whole Sam Jones party bit is the high light of
the movie, between the slo-mo intro and the QUEEN soundtrack, and Wahlberg's
fantasy of flying around with Sam in the movie.
It really does make TED worthwhile, for fans.

he looks more like older dolph lundren in the movie, I actually thought it WAS dolph since i'd seen him recently in expendables.
s for Ted, typical stupid potty humour that was pretty much a waste of time, EXCEPT for the flash Gordon bit that was pretty hilarious. older sam and dolph lundren look very similar these days.

I agree with the OP and others who dug that scene as well. He look real good I thought for a post middleaged man.
I loved his contributions to Ted as well. I grew up in the 80s and remember seeing the Flash Gordon movie many times. My pappy was a big music fan and had a world class stereo system. We heard Queen's Flash theme cranked from his 1980 vintage Klipsch loudspeakers more than once and it's a memory I like to have. The Klipsches are still in the fam today.
But yes, the Flash Gordon stuff in Ted made the movie super-rad for me. I'm pleased to see Sam will be doing an encore in Ted 2!
