I totaly agree! Through out the series I was trying to place his face in my memories and by the middle I remembered Jared Leto. They have an uncanny resemblance! And by the way he looks nothing like Jake Galanhaal (or whaterver his name is).

I thought the resemblance to Peter Gallagher was so strong that I suspected they were related - so I came here in search of information on who this kid was (on an episode of Law and Order SVU) - I forgot he'd been in Taken - but in taken he trimmed the eyebrows down and didn't look AS MUCH like Peter Ghallaghers younger self haha.

He looks like a younger Peter Gallagher only even more handsome.
I've seen Jared Leto close up a couple of times. Once on an airplane, he was on the aisle and I was one row back, on the other side. He is so incredibly hot. And I think he is Adam Kaufman is handsome in the same kind of way as Jared Leto. -

It is funny that people who are plain would do anything to look great, and people who look great will do their best to look ugly. Adam Kaufman is a great looking guy so why does he cover his body with ugly tattoos and grow a gross looking beard? Most people would be glad to look the way he does. I guess he isn't.

Maybe he's not all that into beauty. It could be deliberate. Or, he could think it looks good (well I could understand how someone could think that about tattoos, but not beards). What are his tattoos, do you have a link to a photo?

I know Adam has one tattoo on his arm- You can catch a glimpse of it in the Veronica Mars episode he was in. It matches the one his girlfriend (poppy montgomery) has. Google or look up poppy montgomery on wireimage or getty images to see ( I don't know how to link) . I think it looks good and its not even that large. I am guessing he also has poppy's intials tattooed on him somewhere because Poppy has Adam's initials (amk) near her wrist.
As for the facial hair he had it for the VM episode. And he may have it for the movie he shot this summer - altered. There was an article about the film and it had a tiny tiny picture which showed a guy with a beard but I don't know if it was Adam 'cuz you can't make out the face. I agree with your first guess of he's not all into beauty. I would rather believe Adam to be a guy's guy then a metrosexual. In articles I have read about Poppy she isn't into metrosexual type guys so thats probably true about Adam not wanting to be a pretty boy. If you pick up the Inside TV magazine you can see a picture of Poppy and Adam sharing a kiss - they make a sweet pair. -

I havent read these messages for a while so I wondered why people were complaining about how Adam Kaufman looks since he is such a handsome guy. Then I looked at the photos. Yikes! He looks just awful. REally seedy with tatoos and all. I know actors often start looking terrible when they are not working, like getting really fat and not bathing, but I would have thought that with a beautiful new girlfriend he would want to look good. I used to think that he looked high class and sophisticated, but now he looks kind of creepy. I guess the writer above this is right. He reslly doesn't care about how he looks.

I watch2000ed him in veronica mars, and thought he was Jared Leto, until i realized that he was Parker from buffy and Ethan from dawsons.
I have to say i did hate him in buffy because he was an beep but i also hated him in dawsons creek because he went back with his ex boyfriend instead of being with jack.
But anyhow, in certain shows he is definatly a Jared Leto. He has great eyes too, just not as bright as Jareds.
