I wish i knew, i had such a crush on her when i was a kid, when this movie first came out on video and loved it. It was my favorite kids movie by far. in 1994 i was around 10,11 and i kno when they made this movie the kids had to be around 12 or 13 so i used to think to myself, "oh the girl that plays Gabby (if thats her name lol) i could go out with her!" It's silly as hell now but when i watched the movie again on dvd it was like watching a girl you had a crush on in highschool and hadnt thought about in years. Im not like freakishly obsessed with her, but itd be cool if she still made movies

Well at least I'm not the only one who feels the way you two feel. Hands down, when she appeared in Camp Nowhere she out of all those girls was simple the most beautiful and talented. It's ashame that she didn't have the talent to market herself or it's ashame she lost the desire to continue in motion pictures. It would be great if she returned which is always a possibilty, old habits do die hard. How old would she be now? I wish IMDB could find more information on her, even if it's just for us three guys lol.
Well I do stop back here from time to time so if you guys do we could always discuss, get this board a cookin'. -

It'd be weird to kno what she looks like now. I am so used to how she looked in Camp Nowhere that i probably wouldn't think any pic of her was a real one. I remember when i saw a pic of the grown up Claudia Wells (The original jennifer from Back to the Future i had an equally big crush on her when i was a kid lol) i barely recognized her.. but then i realized it was her. Regardless, if anyone knows her or has a picture of her, i would definetly get a kick at seeing what she looks like now. God if she read these posts she'd think i'm psycho. lol I have a girlfriend and she thinks my boyhood crush is sweet so really im normal, melody!

Haha, I just watched this movie the other day. It really was my favorite movie when I was a kid. Every time Melody comes on screen I feel really silly, like i'm 12 again. On an unrelated note, i do wonder if she checks her imdb page. I mean, it sounds to me that she gave up on show biz so she's leading a normal life among us mere mortals. I know if i had an imdb page but no longer in show bix, I would check out my page, if just for kicks. Either way, I'm sure this is somewhat of a morale booster for her, a buncha grown up guys still obsessing over her performance in a movie she made 10 years ago. Now THAT is star power!

I was positive that I was the only one that was still trying to find her. I guess i was wrong, but it does not amaze me because her beauty and talent were and probably still are flawless. I have searched and searched the internet and the library for any information regarding her but none at all is to be found, its as though she dissapeared completely from the planet, changed her identity. I dont understand why she would do such but i think she needs to be found and i definately wont stop looking. If any one at all gains any information at all i ask that they please post it.

Didnt she appear in one episode of Brotherly Love , if any one watches that. I think she was in that group of three who picks on other , Matt was in that group for a little bit. I'm pretty sure that was her.

Holy Crap I didn't think anyone else wanted to find her either. I mean yeah Camp nowhere. The First movie i saw that she was in was Never Ending story III and i had such a crush on here back in the day I would really like to see what she looks like now. IF you read these post something!!!!!
